Indeed, Scotland has featured in 8 of the 19 World Cups, sadly never making it past the 1st round. The last time Scotland qualified for the WC was 1998 (Coincidentally, England were there too). So, Scotland appear infrequently in WCs. I think I was quite correct ion pointing out that 1950 was yet another WC where the only Scotish representation was via a 3rd party. |
