Nice to meet you Leonardo, Juninho Pernambucano, what a player, I wish I
could see him play one day, but one player who I did get to see play for
Sydney FC (Australian A-League) was former Brazilian world cup winner
Juninho Paulista and damn he was awesome even when he was way past it, but
still far too superior in the competition here. Germano, nice to see a
keeper as a favourite for someone!!! You definately remember him, he played
for Vasco nearly ten years ago now!!!

Brasilian blood, and here you are fond of Danubio, hahaha, well when you get
that feeling for a club, there's nothing wrong with that at all!!!

Argentina v Brasil, well as a neutral, the dream fixture and to be honest I
would love to see Ronaldo score the winner for Brasil if it were to ever
happen!!!

Yes very optimistic, you beat us easily at the last world cup, :) but the
way we went out left a very sour taste.

Hopefully a good result against Germany will set up our tournament, but
seriously, getting out of the group stage would be good enough in my eyes!!!

F1, I love McLaren, but it's very good to see Felipe Massa coming back first
of all, and leading. That injury was terrible, but like true Brasilian's the
class of the man, the determination came through and he's fighting fit
now!!!

Thanks for the introduction Leonardo, nice to meet you once again!!!

By some distance he's my second favourite player of all time. The best
#10 of the past two decades.

You're kidding right? I can't stand Terry. The best English centre back
of the past two decades is Woodgate. He was one of the best man to man
markers in the game, even though no one really plays man to man anymore.

> MMA, cool, but Baking, whats your favourite recipe?

A moist, rich chocolate cake with a creamy fudge sauce. I'm good with
chocolate in general.

Well Daniel I am an Australian citizen, though born and bred in
Britain. I live about an hour or so from Sydney. I am in my late 40s,
moved here about 20 years ago. I get back to the UK about once every
18 months to catch up with my family there, and pack in as many live
games as possible. Whilst not a Londoner I lived in the Eastend for
almost 10 years before moving to Australia. It was great because I had
my pick of top class games most weekends. Still miss London terribly.

I have supported Man Utd since a certain night in May 1968. My Dad,
who was never a football fan let me stay up late to watch it. I have
been hooked on the Reds ever since, through the highs and lows. Living
in Australia you will know how hard it is to watch live stuff, you
have got to be dedicated to the task.

I have four boys, aged between 18 and 13, all have played or do play
football to a decent level. Other sports we all get involved in are
swimming and cricket. A couple of my boys are in the NSW swimming
development squad. Plenty of 5.00am get ups.

Good idea of yours for the thread. Well done.

Pleased to finally make your formal acquaintance, Daniel. My handle is
my name. I'm 33 years of age and have lived in Australia for most of
my life but am of Afghan origins. I've been a dedicated follower of
Serie A for more than 20 years now. Used to be a Juve fan but found
myself in the Rossoneri camp at some point early in this decade (they
were my father's favourites).

I also follow the English top flight though I don't favor any
particular club these days, though I do have a soft spot for Everton
as they were the champions around the time I started to watch the
First Division. Also follow La Liga but don't favour any club, but
rather the style of play and nobody in their right mind could look
past Barcelona in the second of half of this decade.

As to NTs, though will always support the Socceroos over other teams,
I am an ardent fan of Argentina and now to a lesser extent Brasil.
Favourite player of all time is Maradona, but I was also a huge fan of
Baggio (one of the reasons I supported Juve), Zidane, Gullit, Van
Basten growing up.
