AFAIK there are no English passports but only British passports.
It looks like, from RED DEVIL's posts, that the main factor is money
(FA cannot match
Man U. remuneration), coupled with Alex F's dislike for FA and
England.

Agreed. The national associations should have equal power, the decision
making should not be shared by 4+4. Of course you do know that this
situation is entirely the fault of the British FAs - for giving FIFA
voting rights.

As usual Benny doesn't have a clue. It's not about voting rights it's
about the very existance of the UK countries FA's. If there was a UK
FA then there wouldn't be an England, Scotland, Wales or Northern
Ireland FA. It would also cut back the number of CL entries.

There is no such thing as a "English Passport"

As rich as Ferguson is I'm sure he isn't worried about the money, at
least he wasn't when he managed Scotland (who pay a lot less). He just
isn't English and doesn't care about their national team, he see's
them as the "auld enemy" more than anything else. For many years
England's biggest match was against Scotland, if the fixture was
restored it would be that way again. He is quoted as saying he has the
biggest job in world football, that of managing Manchester United.
