From: Bruce D. Scott on 27 Jun 2010 10:19 Germany with better play but all their opportunities have been squandered by air-head play (not passing to the right guy, etc)... England getting slightly more of it now (19') -- ciao, Bruce drift wave turbulence: http://www.rzg.mpg.de/~bds/

GOAL! 1-0 Germany, Klose puts it away in the 20th minute, despite being fouled by Matthew Upson in the box on his way to slotting it past James. -- "Look at the way teams play against Arsenal. Just as I post a long goalie punt down the middle bounces into the box and Klose outmuscles the defender (not Terry, the other one) and beats him to the ball, a great one-touch to tap it to the right past James. What a goal. Very worth of this Classic! Klose now with 12 all time (2nd for Germany, even with Pele) and Germany up 1-0 at 22' -- ciao, Bruce drift wave turbulence: http://www.rzg.mpg.de/~bds/ |
