Last match of group stage in 66, where Germany needed a
draw against Spain and won 2-1 (with that well-known Emmerich
goal from an impossible angle I think).

Well true. i've liked Marin's performances in the league even though he
plays for an enemy (same as Oezil). But the WC is a different level.
Of course it can be otherwise... Mueller often looked lost in the CL
but looked to be getting it together right at the end. I was unsure
about it so never clamored for all the young Bayern players to play for
Germany at the same time. But Mueller has taught us all a lesson.

Well Germany has lots of little guys these days (Marin, Oezil,
Trochowski), enough to make Schweini look like a big guy :-)

(he's only 175 or so)
