If it goes to pens, Paraguay will win. And it's going that way.
Paraguay are out-hustling Spain. Their passing ain't so good when they
are given no time to settle. Spain also diddled too long on the ball
and lost out on several promising situations. In short, they need to
pass both quicker and better. These Paraguayans can't run like this
all day though, can they?

Valdez got a goal dubiously disallowed for offside, but he looked to
have control it with his arm, so it wasn't entirely a disastrous call.

The ball hit his belly and he wasn't offside. Definitely a bad call.

The other guy that went for the header but missed was offside. I guess
he interfered.

Could have gone either way, but Óscar Cardozo *was* off-side and
he *did* go for the ball, even though he didn't touch it. I'm OK
with these things being called off.

Also, as you say, Valdez probably handled the ball though I
don't know if it was intentional.
