Paraguay put on Santa Cruz for their most potent threat Valdez -- who
was probably running on fume considering the shift he just gave.

: If it goes to pens, Paraguay will win. And it's going that way.

Replay showed no arm, but stomach. Cardozo was called for being active,
as Rodriguez in the studio pointed out at the half.

Darke and Harkes don't understand the rule though :-)

: And there should have been a third for Spain
: right away.
: Can't blame the ref too much, though.
: And it evens up with the offside goal in the first half.

I disagree on both counts, and therefore agree with you that the 0-0 is
in order :-)

Who cares what Darke and Harkes said :-)

Anyway GOAL! Villa pounced on after Pedro's shot came off the left
post, which bounced from the right post to the left before coming in
RELUCTANTLY.
