But what neutral observers of Berbatov's performances for Man Utd mostly
remember, unfortunately are his "headline misses" of sitters.

But thats totally irrelevant to the number of opportunities where Berbatov
should most definitely have scored but simply didn't. It was Berbatov in
front of goal with the ball at his feet. Nobody else. Unfortunately.
Where multi-million strikers are concerned the excuses can only go on
for so long.

Face facts chum. If Fergie could arrange a behind-the-scenes deal to offload
Berbatov and the player was happy, Berbatov would be out of Old Trafford
faster than a rat up a drainpipe. And it would be smiles all round.

Assuming he's picked his performances will speak for themselves.

Its just a shame they don't run any "Sitter of the Month" Competitions.

Well, he had an average season last year, but still managed to almost
match Stevie Me in the Actim Stats....

In which case, I expect Stevie Me to be sold ASAP, as a 'flop'. And
Reina, too.

Closely followed by Gareth Barry, who is ranked lower than Berbatov.

And perhaps also John Terry, who was similarly only a handful of points
ahead.

I suspect your ABU stance is colouring your view on this one.

Yes of course it is Steve, of course it is ... now run along and repeat
to yourself that Berbatov must have been worth 30mil as AF never makes
a mistake and even if he did (which he didn't) he has a bunch of mugs
who will prove he didn't make a mistake (which of course he didn't).

.... and that's the kicker. If Man. U were offered 25mil for him the
same fans who are saying he was worth 30mil would want to see him go ASAP.

Only if we could replace him with a better player.

Which, of course, for 25m, we couldn't.
