I'm ignoring the rest of your drivel as it is boring and going over old ground. Berbatov may not have scored the headline goals he did at Spurs, but his all-round contribution at Old Trafford is much more significant than it was at Spurs. The difference is that, at United, goals come from all over the pitch moreso than at most other EPL clubs. Keep it up, though, your ignorance of the game is astounding. -- SteveH

Fergie believed he was worth 20+ million. Spurs believed he was worth 30+ million. They both agreed that 30m was 'about right'. Is he worth it? - how long is a piece of string. If you wanted a player like Berbatov, then you had to pay what the selling club were willing to accept. A player is worth what you're willing to pay for them, and each player has a different value to each club. Torres may be worth 50m to Man City - but to United he'd be worth less than 20m. That's just the way it is. -- SteveH

The only thing undignified about this thread is your obsession with one of our players. -- SteveH |
