If Chelsea draw at Anfield and we beat Sunderland we should be i point ahead and only needing to beat Stoke. If we both win then its down to the last games of the season at 4pm at our respective home grounds. Its still possible chelsea have to beat Liverpool otherwise we have the greatest chance. Of course I'm asuming we beat Sunderland away and Stoke at home. Lets face it when Chelsea made us look silly a couple of weeks back we thought it was all over then. Will Liverpool roll over and die? We'll see but there's not a lot of love between the two clubs.

Take away controversial decisions and what remains is a perfectly good first goal by Chelsea.

First off, we have to assume that United can win their two remaining games. Based on latest reports, it looks like this will be without Rooney. Quite frankly. the best 11 without Rooney that United can put out hasn't inspired a whole lot of confidence. Having said that, I just think they will probably grind out a couple of nail-biting wins. Chelsea on the other hand have had the odd duff game this season, but usually look very convincing and usually look like they are going to score. So, if United are going to pull this off, they will need Chelsea to drop points. I cannot see them dropping points at home to Wigan. Now away to Liverpool, there's a chance. If Torres were playing, I'd say there was a real chance. |
