Two days before the match Duncan Drasdo said it wasn't officially backed
by MUST anyway, but he also said he wouldn't criticise those who
attended the 10min protest.

Had it been official, you'd have known by glancing at your telly. There
would have been huge empty sections.....a bit like the City of
Manchester Stadium on a cup night.

In the 50s and 60s when travel wasn't so easy the working man would
often attend local games only. Many City and United fans went to both
Manchester clubs home games (me included). I stood on the Stretford
End for about 20 years next to a bloke who was a true blue City fan.
It how thing's were back then.
