Yes, one of the biggest ways Iran will hurt the U.S when the war starts is from guerllia war type tactics but at the sea. e.g. boat suicide bombers like the one that hit the U.SS Cole in 2000. I see no reason why Iran can't cause a lot of trouble through these type of methods. Plus, Iran has a coastline that's thousands of KM long - I don't see how the U.S could completely prevent Iran from firing missiles at the ships all day long from their coastline. Simple solution: get the carriers the hell out of there. They have no business being there apart from implementing the final act of Bush's plan for insanity. |
