From: Clarkoo on 8 Aug 2010 06:41 What this guy has done is incredible. First he sits 3/4ths of his first season with Real with a "groin injury" that lasted months. Everybody was aware that something was wrong and that the player decided to reserve himself so he could play with Brasil in the WC. Now we found out that Kaka actually decided to play the WC with a freaking BROKEN KNEE. He didn't want to have surgery before the WC so he could play for Brasil. He played infiltrated all his matches in the WC so his career was basically on the brink of destruction every second he was on the pitch. So the WC is over and what does he do to solve the problem?. Of course he goes on vacation for a month. So when he returns he tells everybody about his problem and decides to go ahead with a surgery he should have had a year ago. Now he is out for the entire first half of the season for Real Madrid (a blessing in disguise because 19 year old sensation Canales is going to take over his place). Real paid 65 million euros for Kaka. Everybody hates him now but he doesn't know why. Go figure.

Real paid 65 million euros for Kaka. Was shocked at that price (did city really put in a 125 euros bid?). Kaka's overrated anyway, could've told you that at the time.

Yup, although the real amount was never really disclosed, it was something well beyond the €100m mark (British papers were talking about a _£_105m fee!). BTW, knowing Milan, I'd surprised they didn't know about the knee problems, they have got world leading facilities, experience and people on such matters... -- ale http://ale.riolo.co.uk

Of course they knew. His knee problems were no secret. Brilliant piece of business by Milan. They sold Kaka' when he was shot, just like they did with Shevchenko. -- http://soccer-europe.com Rss feed : http://soccer-europe.com/RSS/News.xml

On Kaka I don't know, ManC would have paid probably 50m quids more than RM .... -- ale http://ale.riolo.co.uk |
