UFC 117: USA 3-2 Brazil

A minor upset IMO. USA had a good chance to score a fourth late.
Hopefully Brazil doesn't take too much revenge on Tuesday.

I almost cried. It was heart wrenching.

Bad karma for being an incessant trash-talker? But I agree. It's kind
of like outshooting your opponent 19-2, having shots clang off the
woodwork left right and center, and ultimately losing on a late game
lob badly misplayed by the keeper.

The tremendous interest in the fight was due to the World Class job he
did of selling it. Classic Pro Wrestling - he always mentioned his
opponent, the venue and the date. It's so simple but so effective.

He has lost 10 times and has a habit of being submitted so it's not
karma, it's typical of him. The man is money. Just perfect from start to
finish, you couldn't have scripted it better.

I am not even that interested in the sport, but find Sonnen
interesting because he is from this region and is an articulate and
hilarious interview.

Have you heard, by the way, about the street fight between Roger
Huerta and the much larger guy who briefly had a cup of coffee in the
NFL?
