Carlos?

But we all want Ole, don't we? - or maybe king Eric?

Yes...good choice.

Heart ruling your head maybe? I'd prefer to see both cut their teeth
elsewhere, tbh.

Forget about Ronaldo.
Your Carlos Tevez too.
'Cos we've got a player who's United through and through.
He just might tw*t your groundsman, and bomb down your wing,
He's French, he's fast, he's f*cking CLASS, so hear United sing:
Tra la laa, it's Patrice Evra, tra la laa laa laa laa laa...

Whatever, but it will happen one day. Maureen wouldn't be that bad a
choice, accept for having to extend his office so his ego could fit,
and how he always seems to be eyeing up his next job.

Given SAF's success, we would surely look for someone of a similar
mould. These aren't my choices but I can only see Big Eck or Big Eyes
(lol @ self) fitting the bill.

Are they big enough for United? Probably not.

??

I like Jose. Never a dull interview, charismatic and he'd certainly increase
the hatred of the abus which can't be a bad thing.

But he builds his team from defence and none of his sides have had much
width or flair, things that are part of the very fabric of United. He's
also not one for the long haul. As another poster has said, I don't want the
start of another managerial merry go round with them in and out of the door
every two or three years.

Despite United obviously being the top job in the world, I don't think it
would be too long before Jose felt that he hadn't won the league in Germany,
France or South America and he'd be off.

I'm leaning towards Moyes with Ole as his assistant. I wouldn't picket the
ground if O'Neill got the job but he too can be a bit defensive for my
liking.

I would prefer the next one to be British, purely because that's what the
most successful managers in our history have been.

Although I might make an exception in the case of Pep Guardiola. Especially
if he brought Messi, Iniesta and Xavi with him.

But he is at the second biggest club in the world where he was also a
successful player and Barcelona has almost as much to offer as Manchester
with the tiny additions of sunshine and a beach.

Can't really see it myself.
