We'd hardly keep a player that only scored 5 times for us and sell a
player that scores at least twice his rate would we?

Stats show that Berbatow has, to date, scored 26 goals in 85 games for
you, an average of 0.3 goals a game. Tevez scored 34 in 99 games for
you, which is an even better average of 0.34 goals per game.

Tevez has since gone on to score 29 goals in 40 games for Man City
this season.

Sure you don't want to revise your opinion?

Absolutely not

How many of those were league goals?

He'll be off from Man City soon, it's all about money and nothing
else for him.

You didnt answer the question. Do you consider him a successful buy at
£31 million?

Why do only league goals matter? Why do goals scored in Europe, FA
Cup and League Cup not count?

But regardless, Berbatov has 21 in 65 league games, Tevez scored 19 in
63. Almost identical.

What has that got to do with your claim?

You stated that Berbatov was 'undoubtedly' a better player than
Tevez , based on the former having scored substanitally more goals.
I've shown not only was this not the case at all, but Tevez actually
had the better goal return for you.
