Berbatov? Vidic? O' Shea? Evra? Nani? Scholes? Fletcher? I'd have had Giggs as the first name on the team sheet. He has been our best player so far. He is not playing for Wales anymore. I see no reason to leave him out unless he is injured. I'm sad to say that I think Scholes is slowing us down. He is getting silly bookings all over the place. Already 4 yellows in the PL. And I have my doubts about Foster, but as long as VDS is out, he is first choice. But if he doesn't step up soon, I think SAF needs to consider signing a new goalie. The first goal I'd expect a top keeper to keep out. But again, it's football. Anything can happen. There is no guarantee that a different team selection would have made a difference. Dropping 2 points is not what makes me pissed off, it's the lack of proper effort. I find the lack of concentration in the passing in the first half unacceptable. Scholes several times passed straight to a Sunderland player under no pressure at all. No room for nostalgia. I just don't think Scholes has that 110% motivation anymore. He's an outstanding player, but if your mind is elsewhere, you just can't compete at this level. He is still useful in the cups and when we are 2 ahead and need to keep the ball and slow it down.
