I still sit here sometimes and am totally baffled by SAF's selections at
times.

Bayern have a suspect defence - but he starts with Valencia on the bench
- when I think we needed his pace on the wing.

But, seeing how the game was panning out, taking off Park and Carrick to
replace them with a striker and a winger just didn't make sense.

Bad day at the office - and the more replays I see, the more I wonder if
the defence were distracted by Rooney going down, which ultimately cost
us the goal.

Played badly, had the worst of the luck on the night.

Just hope Rooney is fit for the weekend.

Still, the 2nd goal doesn't change things an awful lot - 1-0 is still
enough to see us through - but I honestly thought we could come away
from there with a 2 goal lead.

Bayen are becoming our European bogey team.

Sometime I really do think fate plays a part.....I felt that in 99 as me
and thousands of others psychicly sucked two goals into the back of the
net from the stands. What with us hitting the bar, scoring early and
conceding late goals....that was fate screwing us in the pooing
department that was.

The "pooing dept"? Is that like a number one and two?

Who he? Sounds Polish to me.

I wouldn't get too down about it mate, playing that badly and only one goal
behind with the home leg to come..... could be worse. Although by all
accounts, Bayern will have a stronger team next time. It still could go
either way.
