Heskey is just pointless. A "holding" player who holds the ball up once per match. A "heavyweight" who gets knocked off the ball by midgets, a "partner" for Rooney who doesn't even know where Rooney is, and a "striker" who can't score. Absolutely pointless, if we're looking for a player to hold the ball up, flick on for Rooney or get in the box when Rooney is faffing around in the centre-circle, then use Crouch. Defoe did more in the two minutes after he came on than Heskey did in 74 minutes. |
