Johnson was shown up to be totally useless; he was constantly embarrassed by championship standard players (and that's being generous). W_philips is not up to international standard. Carragher is finshed. Rooney - the only explanation I can think of is that he has not recovered from that ankle injury and he is either deceiving Capello or Capello is making him play half-fit. Gerrard's mind must be on other things... We have a set of players who can't even pass the ball to members of the same team more than twice in a row. James was the only player to come off with any credit.
