Finite resource, it wont always be to expensive
or the Russians turn the gas off, energy security
should be one of the top priorities.

Yes it will unless there is a miracle in technology. No capitalism always
looks for the cheapest way to produce a commodity it does this by cost of
labour, economy of scale, up to date technology and once again the ability
of the work force. India and China happen to have cheap able labour, new
production techniques.

I happen to agree with the Marx's falling rate of profit i.e more and more
capital investment goes into plant and technology leaving far less variable
profit which is human labour. What was the other Marx thing oh yeah,
socially necessary amount of labour to produce a commodity.

That's why disabled, elderly people , women of a pregnacy age and those
with learning disablities are no good to any employer ujnless a subsidy is
given to offset their losses. Cruel and hard but that's the way it works and
despite what the left say about capitalsim it's the only thing that's been
able to turn on the lights for humanity.
