I seriously doubt MON would be considered for the United job, he just doesn't have the credentials (especially considering European competition). I don't think he has the experience required for the job nor the temperment, he hasn't exactly set the world alight with his management career so far. Managing Manchester United is a huge undertaking and I'm not just talking about the playing side of the job. Mourinho is more in line as being a viable candidate. That said, I really think it's going to be quite some time (barring illness) before Sir Alex steps down. If it did come down to an ex player getting the position, then I'd look no further than Solksjaer who is presently at Old Trafford learning management under the great man. RED DEVIL
