I like him...I really do. I think he was instrumental in Germany's WC side, and his stats for Bremen certainly impress. He is very fast, too....which fits in with our game and our future (wasn't Chicharito the fastest player at the world cup...think he was) I'm not *that* bothered if we don't get him...I am very happy with the squad we got. As long as Rooney, Valencia and Nani show at least the same form as last season, and Chicharito is given a fair chance as regards starts (maybe even Bebe, too), we'll be sure to be challenging for the big honours. Yes I know the youth system but those two were exceptional and I would go as far to say wrer the last of their quality for a long long time. Funnily enough looking at the teams United played in the states there seemed to be a fair few young British players who seemingly have gone there because of premiership being dominated by the best foreigners. I maybe wrong but that's how it struck me.

The World cup didn't impress me at all, sub standard teams for the most part. There were plenty of players from lower leagues and lower placed Prem teams playing in it.
