Huntsmen/women do not hunt with "dogs" old man they hunt with "hounds",
it is imperative for your own standing that you get this correct.
Anyone who has made a fool of themselves at a dinner party discussing
hunting will know exactly what I am talking about immediately.

Maybe you just don't know very much about dogs...
A "hound" is a type of dog. All hounds are dogs, but not all dogs are
hounds. Other types of dogs are also used in hunting.
