From: The Scrutineer on 24 Apr 2010 23:05 > There's no one making early runs up front at Arsenal therefore there's > no one to take a "final pass" Five problems with Arsenal (If not MANY more) 1. The Invincible, set the bar too high. 2. Injury toll, lack of quality depth, the ending of careers (Rosicky, Eduardo, Potentially Ramsey lacking in physical shape after horrid injuries) (Silvestre, Senderos, Fabianski, Denilson, Vela lack quality) 3. Defense, needs surgery, although we should have one of our back four in the team of the season (Vermaelen) no team wins the Premier League title conceding 40 goals, just goes to show defences win titles. 4. Goalkeeper, the search is surely on, Almunia, Fabianski just don't cut the mustard. The successor will have added pressure to succeed, in a position that Lehmann cursed!!! 5. Wenger, he needs to bite the bullet and deliver on his word, now a quote I shall use in my defense. *If we find an exceptional player, we have the finances to secure him* now if there is no better player than say Almunia I'm not alive!!!

What a pathetic match for two teams that should be hungry for something right now. Any team who sees Campbell and Silvestre with Fabianski behind them should see three grandmothers in wheelchairs in front of the Grand Canyon. But I'm happy to see Man City slip down the table. It will likely mean another coaching shakeup and more difficulty in signing the very best players who want CL action.

I'm so-so on City, I would rather them getting stars than Spurs attracting some, who's to say they wont stumble in the qualifying round anyways!!!
