Hate to see him gone, he was a player doing unexpected and creative things. Good luck to Yossi, but hope he do bad when Chelsea play Liverpool.
From: stan lee on 3 Jul 2010 14:10 his fault was that he never cover or went back to cover the left back, he was lazy in that aspect. The game has changed no as in when you are on the wing you have to run the whole of the line and he never did, but who did? Both because he was a valuable player (one in the team who can often unlock stubborn defences), he was a hard worker, but also because I though he would given Hodgson a chance. On the other hand, from what I heard, the club couldn't wait to usher him out of the door. Valuable player though he was, he was getting on a bit (thus was only going to lose value) and the 6m or so they received was need to put towards paying off Rafa and buying Hodgson out of his contract. Apparently, Hodgson won't be seeing a penny of they funds - despite what other spending assurances we are led to believe he has been given.

Assuming Maxi sticks around it's a straight swap. Perhaps Pacheco might come off the bench occasionally, and Maxi's an actual wide player.
