Police bomb squad have just released this statement.. The explosion heard
earlier in Birmingham was not a bomb it was in fact Martin O'neill bursting
Aston Villa's bubble :)

Gutted. Not just at the timing of the announcement, but also by what is
surely the worst attempt at humour this long-suffering newsgroup has ever
had to endure...

Football fans just shouldn't have to cop it...
