Why? We are able to pick a NT even if somebody else has picked it,
aren't we?

Or are you just afraid to confront my superior football knowledge of
Argentinian football? :P (BTW, I can pass it to you quite easily: they
won 2 WCs; Maradona scored with his hand; Gago is not in the squad.)

No. I still may go with Argentina. You can pick whomever you want, no
matter who else has made a prediction for that side. But yes, I
figured you might know more than I!

OK, thanks for the clarification.

Let's try Brazil:

Julio Cesar
Maicon
Lucio
Juan
Michel Bastos
Felipe Melo
Gilberto Silva
Elano
Kaka
Luis Fabiano
Robinho

subs:
Ramires
Gilberto
Nilmar

That was almost trivial, since Brazil has already announced the list
of shirt numbers, and I just picked the players with numbers 1 to 11.
Let's see if Dunga sticks to his plan.

Italy:

Buffon
Zambrotta
Cannavaro
Chiellini
Criscito
De Rossi
Marchisio
Camoranesi
Pirlo
Gilardino
Iaquinta

Subs:
Gattuso
Pepe
Di Natale

Did I ever mention that this team sucks?

I had an idea for a similar game involving predictions of the 23 or 30
players called up for the WC squads. But the mechanics were a bit
different, since you could name as many players as you want, and just
one wrong prediction would have nullified your score. I.e. I thought
of a sort of bid: A asserts he's sure that Lippi will call Cannavaro;
B replies "sure, too easy: I guess that he'll call Cannavaro and
Buffon"; then C writes "are you kidding? I can name at least 10 sure
players"; etc. (of course one could disagree with the prediction of
another contestant and list less players than him, as long as at least
one of them is different)

Don't know which version of the game is funnier, but I guess that
they're substantially similar.
