Sunderland midfielder Kieran Richardson has signed a new three-year contract
which will keep him on Wearside until the summer of 2013.

The 25-year-old has scored eight goals in 85 games for the Black Cats.

Former Sunderland manager Roy Keane signed Richardson for �5.5m in 2007 from
Manchester United, where he made 81 appearances in five years.

Richardson showed his versatility by briefly playing at left-back under
Sunderland's ***previous*** boss Steve Bruce.

I reckon Kieran is a canny left back.... Sounds like he has accepted his new
role....

Maybe he can play for England there!

Previous Boss " him who signed Bramble" will be sacked this season!
