We missed Arango (Mchgldabach), Vargas (Belgium), Maldonado (Mexico) and Vega, Lucena, Arismendi, Rojas and few others which have to play the national final Tachira-Caracas this afternoon. JV

Having played here (Canada) for the last 15 years the problems are : 1. no coaching at the youth levels, plenty of kids playing but they are not being taught anything outside of running and taking throw ins. 2. Then the coaching at the senior level is usually some guy with a British accent who maybe played once back home and they learn to run even faster and how to take long throw ins. I played against a bunch of 20 year old kids last week in 35C weather and these guys should of taken us apart we are mostly 45 year old beer bellied ex players, instead they kicked us till we bled and scraped out a 3-2 win. No skill, no tactics, no understanding of the game. |
