A free kick from the penalty spot isn't an automatic goal. That ball was on its way in and it was stopped by an illegal action. The kick did not ensure that Ghana was done justice. I'm not sure that I'd call what Suarez did "cheating", nor do I think that referees should flagrantly bend rules. But I'd hope that almost anybody who is a fan would be capable of seeing the gray matter here.

His act many not have been "dishonorable". But it certainly wasn't "heroic", either. I really hope that you don't believe that there was any willful "sacrifice" on his part.
