Would you categorize yourself as a World Cup fan than a soccer fan then? There's nothing wrong with that. I don't watch MLB until maybe it's the possible last game in the World Series nor any NFL games except when the two conference leaders play each other after the mid-season point and will definitely watch the Superbowl. Even with the NBA, I'll watch maybe the possible last game in the finals and I'll start tuning in more and more starting with the Sweet 16 for the NCAA tourney. I can't watch any of the Bowl games since I'm usually too hung over or already too inebriated during that time of the year when I get time off from work.

I mean I can flick on espn a few nights a week and get a baseball game during it's regular season. I can flick on the network coverage and get an nfl game every sunday all day during it's regular season. I *can't* just flick on espn or a network and see two euro league soccer teams going at it every week....... that has a lot to do with interest here...... I mean hell I never watch american idol or dancing with the stars, but I am aware that it is somewhat popular here.....

Yeah, all good points. Even if you wanted to follow it and watch it, you can't since nobody carries it. It's a very cruel dilemma. At least we get Setanta up here in Canada. I doubt if any U.S. subscribers can. I feel for ya, dude.

And you said that you have had many different packages of tv but never saw soccer coverage. well you must not have had Directv because that have 2 channels of all soccer, Fox soccer and GOL TV(and GOL TV is in english), that show many different European soccer leagues. For the person who brought up Senta you can get it on Directv but it is an extra cost |
