Same in Mexico, but only for about a year

I'm very interested to see to what extent this Chelsea problem
diminishes next season after Ballack has left for Leverkusen...

We are? (Frantically tries to match names to initials.)

After watching the World Cup games, I'm not sure I'm qualified
anymore. There were a lot of fouls (and especially cards) that I
didn't see any reason for. (And a bunch I thought should have been
called that weren't, of course.)

Well, it depends on the level. Young enough, and it's pretty much
dangerous play no matter what. Older, and I'd call it if somebody
broke stride to avoid stepping on you. (And if you slide tackle and
wind up in front of the guy who had the ball and he steps on you, it's
at best ODF[1] if not dangerous play against the tackler.)

I like "You have to give us time to set up our wall." Uh, no. No, I
don't if they want a quick kick.

To be fair, they're far from the only team who engages in such behavior.
They do seem to do it an awful lot, though.

My point is that Ballack (as Matthias Sammer before him) is
exceptionally bad. He was by far the worst in the Bundesliga when he
was here.
