Like the top flights in most of the smaller countries its very
top-heavy. I don't know how the rank and file greek teams outside the
top three compare though with their counterparts in places like
Portugal, Turkey, Belgium, etc.

I think the important part as far as the US national team setup goes is
the Greek league, esp at the top, is way stronger than MLS. If Adu is not
only getting time, but also playing well on one of the upper table teams
(Aris is 5th right now), that puts him ahead of the bubble MLS players
like Klestjan and Rogers. The really interesting issue with Adu if he
does get back in the mix is where does he play?

It's ranked 12th in coefficient list.

League topscorer is Djibril Ciss�, btw, with almost twice as many goals
as number 2.
