....And the rest is clear.

When Liverpool are struggling their best players' heads drop, Torres sulks,
moans, dives and plays terribly, Gerrard sulks, dives and vanishes from
games.

On the other hand, when United are struggling their players pick up the
gauntlet, get their heads down and strain every muscle for the side until
the team is successful again.

Is this just a reflection of their respective managers?

Or does SAF just choose his players more wisely?

Thank god we didn't sign Torres, an injury prone girly whinger who, when the
going gets tough, gives up.

It's looking like he has all the personality traits of a genuine
'Wenger's Arsenal' player.

You are right. Privately, Gerrard and Torres can feel like the squad
is not as good at it should be. Even publically. But ON THE FIELD,
they have to get on with it and *lead* by example. It's still a team
game, I don't know if that's too old school to say.

Also if you get the glory when things go well, you have to be willing
to work to improve thing when things go worse.

But man, things are bad, against Wigan (or was it Lille) Torres was
often found on the wings, the service was that bad :(

A complete contrast to Berbatov, then.
