I've no idea what it really sounds like when you're in the ground, and
the sound on tv will have been balanced between the various pitch-side
microphones, but i like them.

I wonder if City would allow them?

I bloody hope not! It's spoiled every game I've watched so far. Even Mick
McCarthy's voice sounds better.

Please God no.

It's just too steady. It's too constant. No raising and lowering of
excitement level. The same bee-hive drone whether the game's stopped
for an injury or someones threatening to score.
