I'd surely include them in my list if I'll hit them, but a quick
Google search resulted in nothing. :(

BTW, let me put here the item that makes me complete 4/5 of my effort
(effort that could have well been all about just Vasco and Pele - e.g.
I'm skipping over the story of Vasco, having been offered Pele from
Santos, preferring Del Vecchio instead...):

8. ...all the rest is poetry. (TM)

"Happiness, your name is Vasco." This phrase was said by Merin, who
played for Vasco 1953 to 1955, in a rare moment of inspiration after a
great victory. The phrase became part of the collective memory of
Vasco, and in the 1960s was placed in a black band with white
lettering that the organized cheer, led by Dulce Rosalina, hung on at
the Maracana.

Well according to this

http://www.nsd.se/arkiv/2007/08/22/Sport/3572966/Meste-BBK-aren-%E4r-en-pigg-75-%E5ring.aspx

it was indeed in 1960 for the inauguration of the stadium
in Bodens(tm). But I suppose Anders knows about this.

Note to self: strike "can search Google" out of CV.

But... Thanks, Werner! :)

I just found out via google that this game might have happened in 1961.

http://www.ibracrvg.hpg.com.br/1961.htm

The site below seems to have most or all of Vasco's games in that year. It's
not exactly in chronological order, but ordered by tournament. This game
against Bodens appears here in the middle of an European tour (under
"Amistosos e outros torneios"). However, in almost every entry you don't get
any data apart from the scores and, occasionally, the scorers. Lineups,
venue, attendance, referees, most of the times are "desconhecido" (unknown).
So, I'm not sure how reliable this is.

FWIW, here are the results of that tour:

May 21st - Kickers Offenbach 0-1 Vasco
May 27th - Saint Pauli 0-2 Vasco
May 30th - Alemannia Aachen 2-3 Vasco
June 1st (!) - Trondheim 0-11 Vasco (I assume there is some mistake here, as
right after this there is another Trondheim vs Vasco game in the same day,
with the score 0-10 now)
June 6th - Skeid XI 0-2 Vasco
June 11th - Fren (Finland) 1-4 Vasco
June 14th - IFK/AIK XI 1-4 Vasco
June 18th - Dalama (Sweden) 2-4 Vasco
June 21st - Boden 1-8 Vasco
June 27th - AIK 1-1 Vasco
June 29th - Norkoping 0-1 Vasco
July 2nd - Sundsvall 1-5 Vasco
July 5th - Porto 3-0 Vasco

But the Brazilian national team had won the Copa America twice before
then (1919 and 1922). So it wasn't if you include national teams.
