Bad move for the player. Silva could dissapear from the radar of
Spain's national team playing for a second rate team in a foreign
league. I'm sure that is a very lucrative deal for Silva but he is
still young and he might have messed up his chances for a great
international career with Spain.

That's what people said about Gareth Barry when he chose City over Villa and
Liverpool. And they were wrong too.

Sour grapes that he didn't go to Madrid? Actually this might work
better for you.

With Mourinho, and proper targeted signings, it may yet actually be to
your advantage NOT to have signed Silva.

Tevez is doing fine at the 2nd rate club by the way.

City's starting lineup next season is looking like it may be:

Ibra
Tevez
Barry Yaya De Jong ?
Bridge Kompany ? Micah
Given
