The home side got off to a fantastic start. Biava gave away the ball in
his own box with a sloppy clearance, Modesto pulled back a centre and
Guana hammered a right foot shot into the top left corner. Four minutes
Portanova met Adailton's corner with a bullet header. Mauri was left
unmarked in the centre of the box as Lazio attacked down their left,
Mauri took a touch to control Kolarov's centre then blasted a left foot
shot into the top right corner. Dias headed a Ledesma free kick off the
top of the crossbar, Viviano jumped into Stendardo as he headed the
rebound towards goal, Raggi's attempted clearance hit Dias in the midriff
and bounced into an empty net - the Brazilian's first goal in Serie A.
Four minutes later Brocchi backheeled a Zarate centre and Rocchi's miss-
hit shot wrong footed Viviano.

Sanchez scored for the second time in a week, having only scored once in
the previous 8 months. He pulled down an Isla longball, held off Pieri
and his shot took a deflection off the defender over Rubinho. Di Natale
tapped in Udinese's second with a textbook counter, he passed out wide to
Pepe, ran into the box and converted the midfielder's centre.

Red hot Maxi Lopez ran between the wretched Favalli and Thiago Silva onto
Ricchiuti pass and angled a low shot wide of Dida. Mascara launched a
counter attack after Huntelaar was fouled 25 yards from goal, Ricchiuti
passed out wide to Maxi Lopez, by this time Milan had men back in numbers
but no one picked up Ricchiuti as he ran into the box and headed in
Lopez' cross. Borriello began the comeback with a close range header.
Milan were fuming when they were denied another clear penalty, following
one not called in the first half, punishment perhaps following new
Calciopoli 'revelations'? Borriello equalised via a deflection ten
minutes from time after a smart turn in the penalty box.

Leonardo has gained a lot of sympathy following Berlusconi's outspoken
comments and while he can point to the desperate lack of quality in the
Milan squad for the club's failure in Europe he has no such excuse for
draws against Napoli, Lazio and Catania or the recent defeat to Parma.

De Paula punished mistakes by Nocerino and Goian to give Chievo a shock
lead. It didn't take long for a Palermo side that had been knocking on
the door from the opening whistle to equalise, Pastore heading in a
Liverani free kick. The Argentinean won a late first half penalty. After
Miccoli converted he added a second with a typically explosive shot from
the edge of the box.

Consigli fumbled a Vucinic shot and the ball trickled into the net.
Roma's veterans combined to double their advantage. Totti crossed from
the right and Cassetti threw himself at the ball to head in his second
goal of the season. Riise made an unwelcome return to his Liverpool form
with a bizarre and un-necessary interception which took the ball to
Tiribocchi who finished with a gentle touch into a corner. Toni came off
the bench and played like Euro 2008 Toni. Julio Sergio's excellent block
from Tiribocchi ensured Roma didn't pay the price for his wasteful
finishing.

Next up for Roma the mother of all Rome derbies against a Lazio side who
have won three of their last four games.

Siena's offside trap gift wrapped the opening goal for Bari. Ghezzal
scored a fantastic equaliser. Cutting in from the left he passed to
Grosso, Grosso played a first time ball into Larrondo who flicked it up
and Ghezzal smashed a volley inside the left post. Siena were only level
for four minutes. This time Baretto centred from the left and Castillo
scored at the second time of asking. Ghezzal's second was equally as good
as his first, capitalising on a slip in defence the Algerian
international hit a superb lob up and over Gillet inside the left post.
Four minutes later Gillet made a brilliant low save from Del Grosso and
fullback Rosi hooked in the rebound.

Quagliarella tapped in a Lavezzi centre. Crespo came on as a half time
substitute and made the equaliser with a cutback from the by-line.
Lucarelli put Napoli in front with a thumping header from a corner.
Quagliarella touched back a Zuniga centre and Hamsik placed a first time
shot into the bottom left corner. Quagliarella got a second yellow for
dissent and his coach followed him a minute after Jimenez tapped in the
winner from a rebound.

In a brilliant opening 10 minutes Frey was forced to make two saves and
Milito headed against a post. Montolivo sold Zanetti with a drag back as
the Inter captain ran out of defence, Montolivo released the overlapping
Comotto and Keirrison shot first time past Julio Cesar. Inter's equaliser
was a carbon copy and they went in front six minutes later after a
blistering Sneijder lead counter when defending a Fiorentina corner.
Eto'o checked his run as Balotelli made a run out wide, Sneijder passed
to Balotelli, he whipped in a low cross and Eto'o jumped in the air and
volleyed past Frey. Brilliant goal. Incredibly the lead only last two
minutes. Inter conceded a corner, Balotelli's headed clearance hit a
Fiorentina defender and Kroldrup smashed the ball in off Zanetti.

Mourinho accused one of the linesman of celebrating a Fiorentina goal.
Not sure what he was talking about as Italian TV didn't show anything.

Next up for Inter - Juventus at the San Siro, four days before they face
Barcelona in the Champions League.
