Selling might not be an option right now, except to Rafa of course.

Nah... Pedro was enthusiastic and energetic, but we already have one 'tryer'
in the team.

Pedro flattered to deceive and he was guilty of some poor decision-making
and was prone to running into blind alleys. Not slating the guy - he had a
decent world cup - just not jumping on the bandwagon either.

As for Torres, he had a shocking WC, and yet another injury. Might be
beneficial if it keeps him at the club, but it certainly highlights our need
for *at least* one striker as cover. Is Jovanovic the latest great to wear
the number 10, following on from Michael Owen, John Barnes, Terry McDermott
and John Toshack? Or is he Voronin in disguise??

At least Hodgson can't be blamed if he is another Voronin....!

He looks strong, good finisher, good in the air, takes good free-kicks and
penalties. But then people said that about Shevchenko before he came to the
Premiership....! I think he might do well, looks like he might be first
choice for a while now Torres has gone and snapped something else.

Lol. Last time Mental, I promise - but Cisse's fee has always been
counted in RB's "gross spend"....

On a serious note, I do think the one thing Rafa did "wrong" was not
give Kuyt/ Babel more striker time. I think now we do have depth there
- and maybe a wider / prem style 442 might get the best out of them.
Whether they are all good enough, we will see I guess.
