"Last year was a freak year, but if those three click I can see them seriously challenging for the title. Our first team was the equal of most others, but there was no depth... so without Torres, Gerrard, Mascherano etc... we begin to struggle. It says it all that Lucas was a fixture in the side last season. Understudy - yes; worthy replacement for Alonso - no.
