If you thought refereeing was bad in the SPL... you should see the job being done by the referee in the Algeria v Egypt match in the African Nations Cup. Abysmal is the best I can call it. You cannot stop the run up wait for the keeper to move and then kick the ball when taking a penalty. Even the BBC commentators were railing at the referee missing that! ... 2 Feb 2010 20:35
