I'll add another characteristic: acts fast. Kuyt almost always
immediately does something once he gets the ball. He does not always
make the right choice, but it does mean that he often manages to break
open a situation.

Donovan never met Jan Wouters then. Van Bommel is a hard player, but he
is not half as dirty as Wouters ever was.
