Quarterfinals, second legs (away goals count):

Libertad (Asunción-PAR) 2-0 Chivas Guadalajara (MEX)
[Arnaldo Román 20', Manuel Maciel 68'; agg.: Chivas 3-2]
A low corner kick was side footed by Román into the near
corner to give the Paraguayans some hope. Maciel headed
in from close range after a flick from a teammate to make
it close, but Gregorio Sánchez made a couple of fantastic
saves to avoid PKs and take Chivas to the semis, when
they'll face Universidad de Chile, Flamengo (BRA) or
Estudiantes (ARG).

Tonight

São Paulo FC (BRA) - Cruzeiro (Belo Horizonte-BRA)
[May 20 12:50 AM GMT; 1st leg: São Paulo 2-0]
I estimate the chance of Cruzeiro turning this one in about
10%. Although last year they've won the away leg vs. São
Paulo by exactly 0-2!
Winners face Estudiantes (ARG), Internacional (BRA) or
Flamengo (BRA).
