From: Jesus Petry on 12 Aug 2010 00:23 ***************************************** Finals, 1st leg (NO away goal rule): Chivas Guadalajara (MEX) 1-2 Internacional (Porto Alegre-BRA) [Bautista 45+1' - Giuliano 73', Bolívar 77'] Inter took the initiative from the start and hit the woodwork twice in the first half, through a crossing shot by Kléber and a free kick taken by Alecsandro, who had to be subbed out a few minutes later due to injury. Chivas took the lead, though, in the last play of the half, when a nice high through ball by Fabián was headed over Renan by Bofo Bautista. Chivas got a bit more confident and created a couple of chances early in the second half, but Inter took control again and a cross by Kléber found the head of Giuliano for the equalizer. D'Alessandro's cross found defender Índio behind the Mexican defense, he headed back to the center, where captain Bolívar was free to head past the onrushing Michel. Nothing decided yet, but surely a nice advantage for Inter ahead of the Aug 18 home leg. Unfortunately I didn't get a ticket for that match, although there is a very little hope as I've entered a waiting list in case some higher ranked associates are unable to go to the game. Tchau!
