That has to be the greatest possible compliment, coming as it does from
another Brasileiro Maluco mastermind, a competitor as dominating as they
come!

The rest of us have no options but to observe in awe as these titans clash
for the ultimate prize. At least we'll have stories worth telling our
grandchildren about.

With such words of wisdom coming from the defending champion himself -
that is, a proven Brasileirão Maluco player, someone who does know a
thing or two about the (crazed?) ways of this game, and no doubt shall
be up there with giants like Sid/Milivella and Futbolmetrix in the
midst of a three-way title battle going down the wire in the closing
rounds...

Well, what can a bottom-of-the-table newbie like me say? Other than
"I'm just happy JP hasn't thought of creating a relegation zone in
this game!"?

Game played in Sete Lagoas, in front of Galo fans only. Great day for
Cruzeiro. This is the kind of thing that makes me wonder, why do we
need neutral stadia for derbies (not an issue in RS, I know). To beat
a rival, at their own ground (or in front of their fans, as was the
case here), I figure few things would feel better, from a fan's
viewpoint.

Alas, I was on the road at the time of the game and couldn't watch it!
The only highlight I've seen so far was his saves in the end of the
game. Brilliant stuff :-)

Prass was a bit shaky before the WC break, and seemed to be lacking
match fitness in the friendly cup we played during it. Seems like he's
back to his old form. Hopefully for a long while now.
