Yes, but now Spain actually have a winning mentality and have proven
they can perform and win tournaments (i.e. as at Euro 2008). They will
take some stopping IMHO - quality throughout the field from Casillas
through Xavi/Iniesta/Fabregas to Torres and Villa.

I don't discount the Argies however. :(

No way. Spain were not faves for Euro 2008 at all. All the talk was
about Italy and Netherlands and Germany.

The fuckers have never made the semis of World Cup. Really hard to
believe. Even Portugal has done better (finished 3rd in 1966 and
fourth in 2006)
