Having a president with the first name Goodluck will almost guarantee
that you wont have much of it in executive decisions.

Well, Nigeria didn't even qualify for the World Cup last time. And
it's my understanding that France would not have gotten into this one
if not for a missed handball call. :-)

Anyone who wonders why certain African teams don't perform up to
abilities, here is the answer. Nigeria and Cameroon, two of the best
teams, always seem to have these problems. It might explain why such a
mediocre side like Egypt are nowadays perennial champions in Africa.
They have stability. Ghana seem to be getting it together as well, a
combination of both (good enough ability, good enough leadership).
Still, they've also had the problem of being left in the lurch
organisationally, though not so bad as some others.
