You are of course fully aware of Dalglish and his liking for privacy,
and his documented issues with stress. Do you honestly think he
would want to put himself in the hotseat again, with some skeletons
still lurking in Fleet Street cupboards?

If he wanted to manage again, he would have been doing it.
