Congratulations New Zealand. Quite decent showing.

I started my kind of affection with this country when I first read
Jules Verne's "Two years holiday" (Deux ans des vacances), the
adventures of 15 schoolboys of the Chairman School of Auckland in the
1880's, adrift in the Pacific in the schooner Sloughi and then in a
"remote" island.

The first novel I read by Verne. Later New Zealand is also visited by
Verne's characters in Les enfants du Capitaine Grant (In search of the
Castaways).

Regards Gordon, Brian, Santiago, Doniphan, Service, Moko, Cross etc.

You may be on a high, for me I hope Lippi gets what he deserves, NO
ridicule, it's easy to be an armchair expert, some people have already
forgotten what he achieved with the team four years ago!!!

You don't know what has been going on in Italy the last year in the
media...if you only knew.

I don't think so.

At Juve he had a huge management team behind him, including Moggi.

The last WC was a fluke.

Well I dont know about fluke, I hold firm to the belief that the best team
always wins, regardless of other teams that may be more talented.

He was replaced by Donadoni, who lost in Euro2008 to the eventual champions
in a shootout, and the people in charge sought him out, maybe the board
jumped the gun.

Italy - 4 World Cups
Paragay - 0 World Cups
New Zealand - 0 World Cups
Slovakia - 0 World Cups

Ya, congrats on finishing ahead of Italy. You have really accomplished
something there.
